IAIN Langsas Sharia Banking Study Program PBS Achieves Excellent Accreditation from LAMEMBA

After the Field Assessment (AL) on October 16 to 17, 2023, the Sharia Banking Study Program (Prodi) of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Langsa succeeded in achieving 'Excellent' accreditation from the Business Management Economics and Accounting Self-Accreditation Institute (LAMEMBA).

Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business (FEBI) IAIN Langsa Dr. Muhammad Amin, S. Th, MA expressed his gratitude to all those who have succeeded in the accreditation process.

"The decision is contained in LAMEMBA Decree No. 855/DE/A.5/AR.10/X/2023 dated November 2, 2023. Thank you to the chancellor, the LAMEMBA Executive Board, the assessor team, the Prodi accreditation team and the entire academic community of IAIN Langsa," he added.

The alumni of Madrasah Ulumul Qur'an Langsa revealed, although the 'Excellent' accreditation result was a very good achievement, but his party did not stop at that point, in the future FEBI IAIN Langsa continued to carry out the tri dharma of International Standard Universities.

"To be superior, international activities must be further enhanced," he added.

Meanwhile, the Chancellor of IAIN Langsa Prof. Dr. Ismail Fahmi Arrauf Nasution, MA appreciated the performance achieved by the Islamic Banking Study Program. The Chancellor said that his party was very focused on improving the accreditation status at both the Study Program and Institute levels.

"We continue to encourage every faculty to have superior study programs, so that our achievements to achieve superior accreditation for IAIN Langsa will soon be achieved," he said.

To note, the determination of accreditation ratings by LAMEMBA, through several stages. The first is the Adequacy Assessment (AK) which includes 74 indicators of document adequacy.

"The second stage is Field Assessment (AL) which aims to clarify and confirm the results of the AK. The last stage is the determination of ratings in the form of excellent, very good and good ratings," he said.
